Managing Conversations

Keep your chats organized and easy to find.

Creating Chats​

New Chat​

  • Click the "+" button in the sidebar
  • Or just start typing in an empty chat

Automatic Naming​

Chats are automatically named based on your first message. You can rename them at any time.

Organizing Chats​

Rename a Chat​

  1. Double-click on the chat title in the sidebar
  2. Type your new name
  3. Press Enter to save

Delete a Chat​

  1. Right-click on the chat in the sidebar
  2. Select "Delete"
  3. Confirm the deletion

Deleted chats cannot be recovered. Make sure you want to delete before confirming.

Chat Grouping​

Chats are automatically grouped by date:

  • Today
  • Yesterday
  • Last 7 Days
  • Last 30 Days
  • Older

Searching Chats​

Use the search bar at the top of the sidebar to find chats:

  • Search by chat title
  • Search by message content
  • Results update as you type

Message Actions​

On User Messages​

  • Edit — Modify your message and regenerate the response
  • Delete — Remove the message

On AI Responses​

  • Copy — Copy the full response
  • Regenerate — Get a new response
  • View Metadata — See generation details

Attachments​

You can attach images to your messages when using vision-capable models:

  1. Click the attachment icon in the chat input
  2. Select an image file
  3. The image appears as a preview above the input
  4. Send your message with the attached image

Tips​

  • Use descriptive names for important chats you'll want to find later
  • Delete old chats to keep your sidebar clean
  • Start fresh with a new chat when changing topics
